Pikkola Diff compares text inside your browser. The text you compare is not sent to us, and there is no account to attach it to.
The short version
- No sign-up, no account, no user database.
- The text you paste or drop is compared on your device and is never transmitted.
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts.
- Only your display preferences are stored, in this browser, and you can clear them at any time.
What is not collected
We do not collect, receive, store or read the text you compare, the files you open, the number of lines, the options you choose, or a history of comparisons. There is no field in this page that sends text anywhere: the whole diff engine is part of the page you already downloaded.
What stays in your browser
The page saves a small preference record in this browser's local storage under the key pikkola.diff.v1: your interface language, theme, layout (side by side or unified) and option switches. It contains no text from the panes. Clearing site data in your browser deletes it, and nothing else is kept.
Share links
If you press Copy link, the two versions are compressed into the address after the #. Browsers never send that part of a URL to a server, so the text is not in any request log. The link exists only because you copied it; anyone you give it to can read the two versions, so treat it as you would treat the text itself. Reloading a link page stores nothing beyond the preferences above.
Files
Files you drop or open are read with the browser's local File API. They are not uploaded, and they are not written anywhere except into the pane on your screen.
Hosting
The pages are served as static files by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the requests needed to deliver the page and may keep standard logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, time) under its own policies. The address of a comparison contains your text only after the #, which is not part of the request, so your text does not appear in those logs. We do not run additional analytics or server-side code.
If you write to hello@pikkola.com, we receive your address and message and use them only to answer you.
Children
The tool is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because nothing is collected, there is no personal profile to protect.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The tool has no way to notify you, so the current text on this page is the version that applies.

브라우저에 남는 것
이 브라우저의 로컬 저장소에 pikkola.diff.v1이라는 이름으로 작은 설정 기록을 남깁니다. 화면 언어, 테마, 배치(나란히/통합), 옵션 스위치가 여기에 들어갑니다. 두 칸의 텍스트는 들어가지 않습니다. 브라우저에서 사이트 데이터를 지우면 함께 사라지고, 그 밖에 남는 것은 없습니다.
공유 링크
링크 복사를 누르면 두 버전이 압축되어 주소의 # 뒤에 담깁니다. 브라우저는 주소에서 이 부분을 서버로 보내지 않으므로, 텍스트는 어떤 요청 기록에도 남지 않습니다. 링크는 직접 복사했기 때문에 존재하고, 링크를 받은 사람은 두 버전을 모두 읽을 수 있으니 텍스트 자체를 다루듯 조심해 주세요. 링크 페이지를 다시 열어도 위의 설정 기록 외에는 아무것도 저장되지 않습니다.
파일
끌어다 놓거나 연 파일은 브라우저의 로컬 파일 API로 읽습니다. 업로드되지 않고, 화면의 칸 안 말고는 어디에도 기록되지 않습니다.
호스팅
페이지는 Cloudflare가 정적 파일로 제공합니다. 다른 웹 호스트와 마찬가지로 Cloudflare는 페이지를 전달하는 데 필요한 요청을 처리하고, 자체 정책에 따라 표준 기록(IP 주소, 사용자 에이전트, 요청 경로, 시각)을 보관할 수 있습니다. 비교 주소에서 텍스트는 # 뒤에만 있고 그 부분은 요청에 포함되지 않으므로, 텍스트는 그 기록에 나타나지 않습니다. 저희가 따로 분석 도구나 서버 측 코드를 돌리지는 않습니다.

이 도구는 일반적인 유틸리티로, 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 수집하는 정보가 없으므로 보호해야 할 개인 프로필도 존재하지 않습니다.

방침이 바뀌면 맨 위 날짜가 함께 바뀝니다. 알림을 보낼 방법이 없으니, 이 페이지에 적힌 현재 내용이 적용되는 판본입니다.

Pikkola Diff はブラウザの中でテキストを比較します。比較したテキストがこちらに送られることはなく、それを紐づけるアカウントもありません。
要点
- 登録もアカウントもユーザーデータベースもありません。
- 貼り付けたりドロップしたテキストは端末で比較され、送信されません。
- Cookie、解析ツール、広告、外部スクリプトはありません。
- 保存されるのは表示設定だけで、このブラウザ内にあり、いつでも消せます。
収集しないもの
比較したテキスト、開いたファイル、行数、選んだオプション、比較の履歴を、収集・受信・保存・閲覧することはありません。このページにはテキストをどこかへ送る仕組み自体がありません。差分エンジンの全体が、すでにダウンロードされたページの中にあります。
ブラウザに残るもの
このブラウザのローカルストレージに pikkola.diff.v1 という名前で小さな設定記録を残します。表示言語、テーマ、レイアウト（並べて／統合）、オプションの状態です。ペインのテキストは含まれません。ブラウザでサイトデータを消せば一緒に消え、他には何も残りません。
共有リンク
「リンクをコピー」を押すと、2つの版が圧縮されてアドレスの # 以降に入ります。ブラウザはこの部分をサーバーに送らないため、テキストはどのリクエストログにも残りません。リンクは自分でコピーしたから存在し、渡した相手は2つの版を読めます。テキストそのものと同じように扱ってください。リンクのページを開き直しても、上記の設定以外は保存されません。
ファイル
ドロップまたは開いたファイルは、ブラウザのローカル File API で読み込みます。アップロードされず、画面のペイン以外のどこにも書き込まれません。
ホスティング
ページは Cloudflare が静的ファイルとして配信します。他のウェブホストと同様、Cloudflare は配信に必要なリクエストを処理し、独自のポリシーに従って標準的なログ（IP アドレス、ユーザーエージェント、要求パス、時刻）を保持することがあります。比較のアドレスでテキストは # 以降にのみ存在し、その部分はリクエストに含まれないため、テキストがログに現れることはありません。こちらで追加の解析やサーバー側コードを動かすこともありません。

子どもについて
このツールは一般的なユーティリティであり、13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。収集する情報がないため、保護すべき個人プロフィールも存在しません。
